A special note about the cover artist, Christophe Pillault. Christophe lives in Olivet, France. He was born in Iran in 1982 and is an autistic savant. He is unable to talk, walk, or feed himself. He discovered painting at the age of 11, and uses his hands, though he is unable to use his fingers functionally. His fingerprints on the reverse side of his paintings are his signature. His talents were discovered by his special education teacher and then encouraged by his mother, Jacqueline. Christophe has exhibited throughout France, Italy, Japan. China, Canada, and the U.S.

A special note about the cover artist, Mark Rimland. Mark, an autistic savant artist, lives in San Diego, CA. He is one of several role models Dustin Hoffman studied in preparing for the film Rain Man. He has gained international acclaim for his art, appearing on PBS, CBS, CNN, and the Japanese Television Network. The Secret Night World of Cats, a children's book written by his sister Helen and illustrated by Mark, won a national award.
